ServicePlaza Release Notes published: February 2025.

This release note is intended to assist our customers' service personnel with the installation, operation and maintenance of the product discussed here.

Browser Support
The following browsers are supported with the microservice versions used:

For all browsers, only the desktop version (Windows / MAC) is supported, the mobile versions of the browsers have not been tested.
Explanation of version support:
The web frameworks used by ServicePlaza each support the latest version provided by the browser manufacturer. Furthermore, the respective previous version is supported.
Example:
Google Chrome in version 87 is the current version. In this case, version 87 and version 86 are supported.

New Features
Specify Order Quantity
If you want to order multiple items at once, we require a specification of the order quantity.
To be able to order multiple items multiple times, go to the Configuration tab in the respective service and check the “Quantity adjustable” option. This enables you—for example, in the shopping cart—to set the desired order quantity via a number input field (with plus/minus buttons)
Bulk User Import and Management
Manually creating and updating users in ServicePlaza can be tedious, especially when dealing with large numbers. To streamline this, we have introduced a bulk import feature that allows you to import users via an Excel template (CSV) directly into ServicePlaza.
This makes it easy to add and update large user groups with a single import.
In the Setup Wizard, provided you have the necessary permissions, select “Mass Import - Users”, upload your CSV file, and begin importing your users.
Configure One-Time Billing
If you don’t want a monthly subscription billing for a service, there was no alternative before. With this new feature, you can process a service as a one-time charge and have it appear as such on the invoice.
To configure a service for one-time billing, go to the Prices tab of the respective service and select “Purchase” under Mode of Payment.
This will register the service as a one-time charge rather than a subscription model.
Manage Multilingual Texts
Not all ServicePlaza users speak English; therefore, certain texts must be translated into their language for them to understand.
With our new feature, you can add translations in all label fields—such as the item description. In the respective service, go to the Description tab, click the language icon, and enter the text for the desired language.
This functionality is available not only for descriptions but for every multilingual input field. This simplifies ServicePlaza for international users and prevents misunderstandings by displaying content in each user’s native language.
